Terms of Service

Last updated: April 13, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the website trackjud.com.br and the Vigilant platform, operated by TrackJud ("we", "our"). By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service description

Vigilant is a lawsuit search platform that queries public Brazilian court data via API. The service returns structured lawsuit data from CPF-based queries.

The service exclusively accesses data made publicly available by courts on their consultation portals. We do not access confidential data, sealed cases, or protected information.

2. Account registration

  • To use Vigilant, you must create an account with a valid email
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and API keys
  • Do not share your API keys with third parties
  • Each account is for individual or corporate use (access resale is not allowed)
  • New accounts receive 5 free credits for testing

3. Credits and payment

  • Vigilant operates on a prepaid credit model
  • 1 credit = 1 court searched
  • Credits are purchased via Stripe and never expire
  • Prices are published at trackjud.com.br/en/pricing and may change with prior notice
  • There are no subscriptions, minimum contracts, or commitments
  • Used credits are non-refundable, except in cases of service failure (auto-refund)

4. Auto-refund

If a court does not respond after retry attempts, the corresponding credit is automatically refunded to your account. Auto-refund is processed without the need for a request.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the service only for legitimate purposes. The following is prohibited:

  • Using the service for illegal or fraudulent purposes
  • Reselling access to the service without authorization
  • Attempting to access non-public data or bypass security restrictions
  • Using data for discrimination, persecution, or harassment
  • Overloading the infrastructure with abusive requests (rate limiting applies)
  • Sharing API keys with unauthorized third parties

Violations may result in account suspension or termination without prior notice.

6. Data and accuracy

  • Returned data is extracted from public court portals
  • We strive to ensure data accuracy but do not guarantee that data is always complete or up-to-date
  • Cached data may be up to 2 days stale
  • Court availability depends on their own systems (outside our control)
  • The data does not substitute professional legal advice

7. Intellectual property

  • The site, the TrackJud brand, the Vigilant product, the API, and all documentation are property of TrackJud
  • Returned court data is public data — you may use it per applicable law
  • Blog content is protected by copyright

8. Limitation of liability

  • The service is provided "as is"
  • We are not responsible for decisions made based on returned data
  • We are not responsible for court unavailability
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the last 12 months

9. Availability

We strive to keep the service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.

10. Cancellation

  • You may cancel your account at any time via the dashboard or by email
  • Unused credits are non-refundable after cancellation
  • Account data is deleted 30 days after cancellation

11. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated by email or notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
