TrackJud ("we", "our") respects the privacy of users who access our website (trackjud.com.br) and use our products. This policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data, in compliance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Law 13.709/2018).

1. Data we collect

1.1 Data you provide

  • Account data: name, email, and password when creating a Vigilant account
  • Payment data: processed directly by Stripe. We do not store credit card data
  • API usage data: CPFs searched, courts selected, query history
  • Communications: emails sent to support@trackjud.com.br

1.2 Data collected automatically

  • Analytics cookies: Google Analytics 4 (GA4), only with your consent via cookie banner
  • Navigation data: pages visited, time on site, traffic source (only with consent)
  • Technical data: browser type, operating system, screen resolution

1.3 Data we do NOT collect

  • We do not collect sensitive data (racial origin, political opinion, health, biometrics)
  • We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes

2. How we use your data

  • Service delivery: process queries, deliver results, manage credits
  • Communication: send transactional emails (purchase confirmation, usage alerts)
  • Product improvement: analyze usage patterns to improve the platform
  • Security: prevent fraud, detect abuse, protect infrastructure
  • Legal obligations: comply with legal and regulatory requirements

3. Legal basis (LGPD)

Your data is processed based on the following LGPD legal grounds:

  • Contract performance (Art. 7, V): to provide the contracted service
  • Consent (Art. 7, I): for analytics cookies (via cookie banner)
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 7, IX): for security and fraud prevention
  • Legal obligation (Art. 7, II): to meet fiscal and regulatory obligations

4. Public court data

Vigilant exclusively accesses public data made available by Brazilian courts on their public consultation portals. This data is publicly accessible under Art. 7, §4 of LGPD and does not constitute confidential personal data.

We do not access sealed cases, protected data, or information that is not publicly available on court portals.

5. Data sharing

We only share data with:

  • Stripe: payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant)
  • Google Analytics: site usage analytics (with your consent)
  • Infrastructure providers: hosting and service operation (Azure)

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

6. Storage and security

  • Data stored on servers in Brazil (Azure, Brazil South region)
  • Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest
  • Role-based access control (principle of least privilege)
  • Passwords stored with bcrypt hashing (never in plain text)
  • Sensitive fields encrypted with Cloak (AES-256)

7. Data retention

  • Account data: retained while the account is active. Deleted 30 days after account deletion
  • Query data (lawsuits): retained for 14 days for caching. Older data is automatically purged when superseded by fresher data
  • Payment data: retained per fiscal obligations (5 years)
  • Access logs: retained for 6 months for security

8. Your rights (LGPD)

You have the right to:

  • Access: know what data we have about you
  • Correction: correct incomplete or incorrect data
  • Deletion: request deletion of your personal data
  • Portability: receive your data in structured format
  • Revocation: revoke cookie consent at any time
  • Information: know with whom we share your data

9. Cookies

We use the following cookies:

  • Essential: theme preference (dark/light mode) — stored in localStorage, no tracking
  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4 — installed only after consent via cookie banner

You can revoke cookie consent at any time by clearing browser data or clicking "Decline" on the cookie banner.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated by email or notice on the site. The last-updated date is at the top of this page.
